Meet The Team

Our management team works hard to ensure that everything we do as an organisation is in the best interests of the farmers we represent. The Falkland Islands Meat Company strategy and policy is developed by our Board which is comprised of both the farming and non-farming sectors, providing sound business and industry direction. The board works closely with the Department of Agriculture, the Veterinary Department and the Falkland Islands Government.

David Roberts, Operations Manager

Dave joined FIMCo as Logistics Officer in 2010 and took over responsibility for the overall operation of the plant in 2016. He is also responsible for livestock procurement and general logistics as well as being the company IT co-ordinator.

Nigel Leach, Production Manager

Nigel joined FIMCo as Butchery Foreman in 2005 and was promoted to Production Manager in 2012. He has been involved in butchery for many years, and initially ran FIMCo’s domestic market production before taking on export processing as well.

Jackie Thomas, Accounts Officer

Jackie joined FIMCo accounts department in 2008 and apart from responsibility for book-keeping and payments, she has a number of years experience with export documentation.
